The Moniteau County SB40 Board currently operates an 11-bed group home situated in California, Missouri. Our residences offer safe, comfortable living situations with a focus on family-oriented care. Residents of our group home come from diverse backgrounds and are aged between 21 to 60 years old.


Our services are dedicated to fostering personal independence, ensuring safety, and respecting the dignity and lifestyle choices of our clients. Our staff offers 24-hour care, 7 days a week, providing support in areas such as health, safety, personal hygiene, social and community skills development. We encourage active participation in the neighborhood and nearby community.


Our objective is to help individuals achieve personal goals and become valued members of the community. Our trained residential staff assist in various areas, including medical and counseling appointments, filling prescriptions, behavior treatment plans, handling emergency situations, catering to specialized nutritional needs, aiding with transportation, and providing personal care.


The SB40 Board maintains an open-door policy for families and friends to visit and feel welcome at our home.
